Zanzibar.
Zanzibar is about the energy of the place and its people - visible, almost palpable from the first moment you arrive. The good vibes, the dancing, the colors, the lifestyle - all of this gives you the feeling that here you "unlock" life and really start enjoying it.
WHAT ARE THE KEY EXPERIENCES?
Safari, Ngorongoro, not Tarangire
We're spending our first day in Arusha, at the foot of Kilimanjaro, with an authentic coffee tour, then we'll continue with two days of safari in Ngorongoro and Tarangire, with nights spent in a comfortable lodge right in the reserve.
CULTURE, TRADITIONS AND LOCALS
Established excursions include the Historical Slave Market Tour in Stone Town, visits to traditional villages and local schools, spice farms, Prison Island and giant tortoises, but also rarer experiences - like night kayaking or SUP through the mangrove forest by moonlight. Cultural evenings with local bands, traditional dances and campfire seafood barbecues complete that authentic vibe that's hard to find anywhere else.
Traditional Dhow boat trips
Take to the ocean in Zanzibar's traditional Dhow boats - hand-carved from teak wood, with triangular white sails that catch the wind just right. For centuries, fishermen and traders have used them on Indian Ocean routes. We follow in their footsteps to Prison Island, Blue Lagoon, Kwale Island and sandbanks that appear and disappear with the tide. A day of sailing that takes you out of time - simple, natural, real.
SUNSETS AND MAGICAL MOMENTS
Sunsets in Zanzibar are an experience in itself. From beach bars with DJs, entertainers and acrobats, to wild beaches hidden between cliffs and jungles, each place has its own energy. The sky burns orange, the drums beat in the background and the campfire becomes the center of the stories. Everything is authentic - a mix of chill and magic, just like the island.
PARTIES AND LOCAL VIBE
From events with international DJ line-ups and low-key after parties to impromptu local parties where the music and energy are the only things that matter. No lights, no stage, just rhythm, dance and presence. People dance to afro beats with an intensity that demands no approval. No matter what you wear or where you come from - if you feel the music, you're part of the tribe.
Zanzibar in Tripsterescu's vision
Zanzibar is more than just an island with white beaches and turquoise waters - it's pure energy, and you can feel it from the first moment, in the smiles and moods of the locals, as well as any traveler who has spent at least a week around them, as it is contagious, in the rhythm of the dance that never seems to stop. Here the colors are not only on the houses, in the markets or in nature, but also in the mood of those who live simply but intensely. Zanzibar teaches you to "Hakuna Matata", leave your worries behind and enter into a flow of life where everything is more alive, authentic and joyful.
Tripsterescu's 13 days in Zanzibar offer a diverse range of experiences, aiming to provide you with the ultimate experiential vacation. You'll get to relax and explore relevant aspects of this little piece of African paradise in a safe and controlled environment, allowing you to form a realistic and genuine opinion. Tripsterescu has fallen in love with this island, considering it their favorite destination on Earth, the only other place they can call home besides their registered address. Therefore, they have curated a 13-day itinerary, selecting the period, locations, tours, experiences, and activities to offer „the ultimate experience,” an unforgettable journey.
